Pre-requisites

  • Specifically, knowledge on:


  • AspenTech Inmation Component Service roles.
  • Using DataStudio to configure and troubleshoot the AspenTech Inmation system.
  • Using AspenTech Inmation’s historian functionality (MongoDB).
  • Creating and using DataSource objects.
  • Additionally, some knowledge on using the History Transporter object is useful, although not essential.


Aspen Infoplus.21:


  • This course assumes a very basic knowledge of the functionality of Aspen IP21. Although there will be some set-up of IP.21, most of this course will focus on configuration of objects within the Inmation environment.


  • It will be useful to have some prior knowledge on:


  • Using Aspen Infoplus.21 Manager, Aspen Infoplus.21 Administrator and Aspen SQLPlus.
  • Modifying the fields of Record Definitions.
  • IP.21 Real-time compression settings.
  • IP.21 Replication.
